Suburban Decorative Concrete Supply, a full-service decorative concrete supplier.
Suburban Decorative Concrete Supply specializes in everything a contractor needs to create eye-catching walks, driveways, floors and countertops. The company services the Louisville Ky., Indianapolis, Ind., Dayton and Columbus, Ohio, markets, but ships anywhere in the world.
The company, previously known as Greenrose Inc., was acquired in 2006 by the Columbus, Ohio, based commercial and residential structural steel supplier, Suburban Steel Supply. As a result of the acquisition, Greenrose Inc. became Suburban Steel of Kentucky, specializing in structural steel and decorative concrete supplies. To better serve the decorative concrete contractor, the decorative supply business was separated and a new company was formed.
“Concrete is a perfect alternative to the more expensive home décor materials like granite, marble, quartz and travertine,” said Suburban Steel President Mark DeBellis. “The consumer demand for concrete countertops and other accessories is rapidly growing. Suburban Decorative Concrete Supply also offers educational classes to contractors on the various techniques for decorative concrete applications. The company’s hands-on educational approach was developed solely with the contractor in mind.
Effective March 31, the company will relocate to a new and expanded facility, located at 13026 Forest Centre Court in Louisville. The 22,500 square-foot building is home to an array of products and services for concrete contractors.
The facility’s showroom features displays of concrete overlays and stains, and highlights a project of the month. The 15,000 square-foot warehouse is the most impressive element of the new headquarters. A complete in-stock inventory provides concrete contractors a one-stop-shop experience.
