Suburban Steel Supply, and Suburban Erectors, a subsidiary of Suburban Steel Supply that provides field erecting and crane services for nearly any size job, are both recipients of the 2007-2008 BX Safety Achievement Award.
Award recipients are evaluated on safety performance through both statistical data and implementation in the field through a surprise safety audit by a team of BX judges. The “surprise” audit confirmed with the judges that Suburban Steel Supply’s statistical safety data is true and demonstrates the company’s emphasis on safety.
“Safety has always been a top priority,” said Mark DeBellis, president and managing partner of Suburban Steel. “Suburban Steel is a company dedicated to enforcing safety at all times, whether it is in the shop or on a job-site, our employees are cautious and watchful on every job.”
An award celebration will be held to honor the recipients of the BX safety award on November 20 at the Celebration of Industry Excellence award ceremony. Safety leaders and top management will receive their awards while celebrating together with company employees.
